DAY 1: Galentine’s Day Brunch & Market

We attended the February 12th Sunday Brunch with delicious food from Chef Jes Tantalo, Grace Garay from Nomad Bake House, and the crew at Crocodile Dining. We enjoyed a stellar crafted cold brew coffee from Deli Desires and sipped a few of the crafted brunch drinks offered for the event. Our group especially loved the Blood Orange Spritz made with Il Soffione Prosecco (Treviso, Italy NV), Mommenpop Blood Orange Vermouth, and house blood orange bitters. We dined on the following:

From the special Galentine’s Menu, which included:

  • Flapjacks: Sourdough pancakes, pie crust crunchies, whipped maple creme fraiche, fermented guava, lime curd.
  • Mushroom & Greens Frittata: Applewood smoked mushrooms, greens, local eggs and datil honey, fresh sourdough.

From the regular Redlight Redlight Snacks menu, which includes:

  • Meredith Dairy Marinated Feta Cheese: Sheep and Goat milk cheese marinated in garlic and herb-infused oil! This shareable jar is served with artisan crisps and Carr’s Water Crackers.

From the Nomad Bakehouse pop-up:

  • Ruby Rocky Road Cookie: Dark Chocolate cookie filled with house marshmallows, hazelnuts, and Callebaut Ruby Chocolate
  • Hojicha Lemon Pound Cake: Hojicha (roasted green tea) tea powder, Trinity flour blend (soft red pastry wheat, hard red winter wheat, sifted Rye) sea salt, local egg, pure cane sugar, buttermilk, canola. Topped with lemon white chocolate ganache, poppy seed, lemon zest, and bee pollen. We may (did) put some of the Meredith Dairy Feta on the cake and it was outstanding!

After eating our group made Valentine’s and Galentine’s cards to mark the occasion as we jammed to the tunes by the DJ.
