Located in the Colonial Plaza near Fashion Square Mall, the Baja Burrito Kitchen has been cooking up consistent, quality quick service food since the 1990’s. The first of the quick service Mexican-Tex/Mex-Cali/Mex food chains in Orlando, your order is placed at the counter, paid for and then your food is brought to your table. Check the specials board for features like the Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, Sonoma salad and extra menu additions. Full menu has a nice variety of burritos, tacos, salads and more. One of my favorites, pictured above, started out as a special many years ago and eventually made it to the regular menu.
Included with meals is a side of corn tortilla chips, which should inspire a trip to the fresh salsa bar. Made in-house, these tasty salsas range from refreshing and mild, to smoky or packing some heat.
Great food for a quick lunch or dinner dining in or to take home.
